Every one of us has the power to create change.

Changing Mindsets, Raising Voices

Political power can be transformative and a strong political voice is essential in the fight for animal rights.

Funneling attention towards the urgent need of proper policies for animal protection is a massive task.  More political power in the form of animal based political parties will drive positive change, slowly but surely.

There are many dedicated groups who aim to garner the support of all those concerned about animal rights, and those dejected because of the treatment of the intelligent living beings with whom we share our planet.

Environmental groups are equally as passionate and work tirelessly to keep governments and corporations accountable.

Our wilderness areas are dwindling due to the continuing expansion of our cities and suburbs, never-ending developments and clear felling of huge tracks of forest.

In Australia, there are little to no environmental policies as  the government continues to promote developments and projects led by huge corporations. These often have dire outcomes for the environment and wildlife.

By continuing to pass legislation  restricting  individuals  rights to protest or to raise concerns about proposed developments, there has been little need for the government to address the issues.

There is a dire need for affirmative action before it is too late.

More people need to raise their voices in opposition.  Activism within a group is an effective way for individuals to gain traction in the fight.
